TripAdvisor releases best destinations in Asia, Kathmandu in 6th place

The travel website TripAdvisor has released its list of 25 best travel destinations in Asia, putting Kathmandu in sixth place. The list has given the top travel destination of Asia to Bali, Indonesia. The top five destinations besides Bali include Phuket, Thailand; Hanoi, Thailand; Siem Riep, Cambodia; and Tokyo, Japan. TripAdvisor is a top travel website used widely by travelers across the globe. Being placed in sixth place, Kathmandu can expect increase in tourist numbers. TripAdvisor is considered to be the go-to travel website around the world by travelers to choose travel destinations, hotels and restaurants, and as such, given high value in the tourism industry. Currently, the website has 315 million members. The top 25 destinations of Asia as released by TripAdvisor are:
