Landmark Announces Special Packages

Samrat Group has introduced summer package for those interested to visit Pokhara and Chitwan. Issuing a press statement, the group said it has launches special offer for Hotel Landmark at Lakeside, Pokhara and Landmark Forest Park at Chitwan.

पोखरामा रोपाइँ महोत्सव
पोखरा, आषाढ १५ । पोखरामा पर्यटन व्यवसायीहरुले आषाढ १५ को अवसर पारेर रोपाइँ महोत्सव मनाएका छन् । ‘पोखरा सबै मौसमका लागि’ भन्ने नाराका साथ पोखरा १३, काहुँखोला बुडुवाँ फाँटमा पर्यटकहरुलाई सहभागी गराएर व्यवसायीहरुले रोपाइँ महोत्सव आयोजना गरेका हुन् ।

महोत्सवमा पर्यटकलाई सहभागी गराएर हिलोमै विभिन्न कार्यक्रम गरिएको थियो । महोत्सवमा  ३७ राष्ट्रका करिब ५ सय पर्यटकहरु सहभागी थिए ।

तीन दिनभित्र पर्यटन बोर्ड सञ्चालन नभए अख्तियारको कारबाही

काठमाडौं : अख्तियार दुरुपयोग अनुसन्धान आयोगले नेपाल पर्यटन बोर्डलाई तीन दिनभित्र सेवा प्रवाह सुरु नगरे कारबाही गर्ने चेतावनी दिएको छ। बार्डले सेवाग्राहीलाई ५२ दिनदेखि सेवा दिन सकेको छैन। बोर्ड अस्तव्यस्त बनाइएको भन्दै अख्तियारले तीन दिनभित्र पूर्ववत् रूपमा सञ्चालन नभए कारबाही गरिने जनाएको हो।

अख्तियारले तीन दिनभित्र बोर्डको समस्या सम्बोधन गरी सञ्चालनको व्यवस्था मिलाउन संस्कृति, पर्यटन तथा नागरिक उड्डयन मन्त्रालयका सचिवलाई पत्र पठाएको छ। सचिवले बोर्ड सञ्चालन गर्ने व्यवस्था मिलाई त्यसको जानकारी अख्तियारलाई नदिए पर्यटन सचिव, मन्त्रालयका पदाधिकारी, पर्यटन बोर्डका पदाधिकारी तथा सम्बद्ध अन्य पदाधिकारीलाई अख्तियार दुरुपयोग अनुसन्धान आयोग एेन २०४८ अनुसार कारबाही गर्ने चेतावनी दिएको छ। पर्यटन मन्त्राययमा सचिव सुशील घिमिरे छन्। घिमिरे बोर्ड सञ्चालक समितिको अध्यक्ष पनि रहेकाले उनलाई अख्तियारले बोर्ड सञ्चालन गर्न पत्र पठाएको हो।

बोर्डमा भएको आर्थिक दुरुपयोग, महिनौंदेखि कार्यालय बन्द, बोर्डका कर्मचारी हाजिर गरेर कार्यालय बाहिर हिँड्ने तथा प्रमुख कार्यकारी अधिकृत महिनौंदेखि कार्यालय नआएको विषयमा अख्तिायारको ध्यानाकर्षण भएको उल्लेख छ। पर्यटकसँग उठाएको रकम मनपरी ढंगले खर्च गरी अनियमितता र भ्रष्टाचार गरेको उजुरीप्रति पनि आफ्नो ध्यानाकर्षण भएको अख्तियारले बुधबार जारी गरेको विज्ञप्तिमा उल्लेख छ।

बोर्डमा भइरहेको गतिविधिलाई अख्तियारले गम्भीरतापूर्वक लिएको पत्रमा उल्लेख छ। बोर्डका प्रमुख कार्यालय नआउनु र कर्मचारीले काम नै नगरी तलबभत्ता लिइरहने तर पर्यटन क्षेत्रभित्रको समस्या समाधानमा ध्यान नदिएको आरोप लागेको छ। सेवाग्राहीलाई सेवा नदिएको विषयलाई अख्तियारले गम्भीरतापूर्वक लिएको अख्तियारका प्रवत्ता श्रीधर सापकोटाद्वारा जारी विज्ञप्तिमा उल्लेख छ।

बोर्डको छानबिन समितिमा दुई सदस्य थप

बोर्डको छानबिन समितिमा नवराज पाण्डे र मन्त्रालयका कानुन अधिकृत उत्तरप्रसाद खरेल थप भएका छन्। सहसचिव पूर्णचन्द्र भट्टराईको संयोजकत्वमा यसअधि गठन गरेको पाँचसदस्यीय समितिमा दुईजना थप गरेर सात बनाइएको पर्यटन मन्त्रालयले जानकारी दिएको छ। समितिमा पर्यटन मन्त्रालयकै लेखा अधिकृत ध्यानकुमार राई, अर्थ मन्त्रालयका उपसचिव, पर्यटन व्यवासायी भीम पन्त र अच्युत गुरागाईं रहेका छन्।

Mt. Kailash (6714m) is the most sacred mountain in Asia. It is believed to be the physical embodiment of the mythical Mt Meru, said to be the center of the universe or ‘navel of the world’ . Mt. Meru is depicted as a mandala, and its image occurs throughout both Buddhista and Hindu parts of Asia. Mt Kailas is holy to followers of four religions. To Hindus, Kailash is the abode of Shiva and nearby Manasarobar Lake is the means or soul of Brahma. Tibetans call Kailas Kang Rimpoche. Jains worship it as Mt Ashtapada, the peak from which the religion’s founder, Rishabanatha, achieved spiritual liberation. Followers of Bon-Po, the ancient pre- Buddhist shamanistic religion of Tibet, revere Kailas as the soul of Tibet. Mt. Kailash has long been an object of worship for four Major religious, for Hindu, it is domain of Shiva, It is also the abode of samvara-a multiarmed, wrathful deity worshipped in the chakrasamvara Tantric cycle of Tibetrian Buddhism. The joins of India also reverse the mountain as the site at which the first of their saints emancipated. And in the ancient Bon religion of Tibet, Kailash was the secred nine storeys Swastika Mountain, upon which the Banpo founder Shenrab alighted from haven. The 53 Km. Kailash circuit is the holist of all-Hindu as well as Buddist pilgrimages and the beacon, which draws most traveller to western Tibet. It is said that a single Parikarma erases the accumulated sins of a lifetime, while 108 cicurmbulation will achieve Salvation.

Lake Mansarovar: At an elevation of 4510m, is more important to Hindus than to Buddhists. Hindu pilgrims make an 85km. circuit around Manasarovar that is made longer and more difficult by marshes and complicated stream crossings. The Tibetans, being more pragmatic, often make a circuit of the lake in the winter when the streams are frozen and the route is shorter. Near Manasarovar is another large lake, Rakshas Tal, the ‘Demon Lake’ that holds far less spiritual significance.

Sprawling below Mount Kailash is the sacred lake Manasarovar (4510m), where ritual bath will deliver a pilgrim to brahm’s paradise and drink of its water relinquishes the sins of a hundred lifetimes.
